Do you...
Ever find yourself leaning too much in the saddle, feeling off-balance in high-speed runs, or struggling to control your seat when it matters most?
Feel that your reaction times are slower than you'd like, or that your coordination with the reins and your legs just isn’t clicking at high speeds?
Do you feel tired and drained during or after rides, and you’re not recovering as well as you’d like?
Find it hard to keep a strong, balanced seat, especially when you're chasing down a steer or coming around barrels?
If you nodded your head to any of these, then you're in the right place.
It all comes down to a little-known reflex called the Vestibular-Ocular Reflex (VOR).
In this training, you're going to learn how your eyes and ears can either help or hinder your speed, stability, and coordination—and how training your VOR will take your rides or runs up a notch
You’ll discover how your VOR impacts everything from seat strength to coordination of your reins and legs, and how even a slight imbalance in this system can slow you down or throw off your timing.
By the end of this training, you’ll know exactly what to do to improve your stability, coordination, and timing—leading to faster, smoother runs whether you’re running barrels, chasing down a steer, or competing in ANY event where speed matters.

I’m Janelle, and I’m a Strength & Performance Coach for equestrians.
I don’t know about you, but it seems like every time I fall off my horse I land on my head... WHY?!
Was it smart to be practicing lead changes bareback and not holding on? Probably not. Cue to my worst horse-related concussion.
After that fall, I connected with Liz, a concussion specialist, who opened my eyes to things I had no idea were making my symptoms worse—like something as simple as nodding my head up and down (you don’t realize how much you do something until you try not to do it!). Turns out, this little habit had a lot to do with my vestibular system being thrown off from the impact.
What really blew my mind was learning how much the eyes, ears, and brain work together—not just after a head injury, but in everything we do, even in the saddle. They influence balance, focus, and even how confident you feel going faster with your horse.
So, as you dive into this webinar training, just know it’s brought to you by one of my less brilliant riding moments. But if I’ve learned anything, it’s that every fall—literal or not—can teach us something new. Enjoy!
Good, because I've got answers!
