Your Instructor

Lotti Hutchinson, BSc (Hons)

Lotti graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy in 2009 and has since continued to challenge and improve her knowledge with a number of different courses.

She is an experienced therapist and has a broad range of skills, knowledge, and experience from working in a range of clinics and sports teams including horse riders, semi-professional football teams, professional rugby teams, and runners. She has a keen eye for most sports and getting your rehabilitation right so you shouldn't have to return to the same injury time and time again.

She specializes in a neuromuscular approach to rehabilitation and movement. She has been studying neuromuscular systems and training for a number of years and is currently completing her neurocentric approach to rehabilitation with Z-Health University.
Lotti looks at your injury through a neural lens which may be an angle you have never had your injury looked at before.

In her own time, she likes to spend time with her family, likes having time with her 3 horses (1 shetland so not real horses), walks and exploring the dales with the children and Finn our working cocker spaniel, and runs up to half marathon distance. Lotti aims to get you back to your optimal performance by teaching you how to move free of pain using a variety of different rehabilitation types.

Your Host

I’m Janelle, and I’m a Strength & Performance Coach for equestrians.

As a strength coach I learned a lot about how to develop our physical bodies, but I’ve always been intrigued by how our brains impact our physical function.

This intrigue and desire to learn about brain-body connection was exacerbated by two key experiences in my life - my dad getting a life-altering concussion and my niece being born with CP (a lack of oxygen to the brain causing brain damage).

These experiences made it quite clear to me how important our brains are! How it relates to riding I wasn’t so sure so I was beyond excited to run into Lotti on the good ol’ Instagram - so enjoy her training on a neurocentric approach to riding.
