Your Instructor

Darci Ecker-Popiel, BSC, BED, MPM, CHA E/W

Darci is long-time rider, competitor, CHA certified English and Western riding instructor and MPM certified coach. These days, She specializes in mental performance, the part that matters when you are struggling with negative self-talk, anxiety, a fear of being judged and all the rest of the baggage our brain throws our way when we need to be our best.

Darci works with casual riders, those returning after years away from horses, those coming back after an incident, as well as competitors on a quest to do big things in their sport.

In this training she will teach you a little about what mental performance is, and introduce a few actionable tools that you can implement immediately. I am confident that by the end of this 80 minutes you'll be on the right track to a mind that functions well when you ride.

Your Host

I’m Janelle, a Strength & Performance Coach for equestrians.

As a part of my own horse riding journey, I have come across a few challenges that have required not just a body that functions well, but a mind that does as well. The mind and the body are so interconnected - you can’t have one without the other! This is why I host Darci, mental performance coach, in this webinar to bring you more tools for the mental side of your ride.
