I’m Janelle, and I’m a Strength & Performance Coach for equestrians. 

In my education and experience working with a variety of different athletes, there is a common thread - we need to train our cores.

While this is true, what’s missing is understanding how core muscles actually function, different factors that impact the ability of our cores to function well, and then how riding horses specifically impacts what’s required of our core (not every sport has the same demands!).

So here is your basic training on how to ACTUALLY train your core for riding (you’ll save yourself a lot of effort by learning how to do it efficiently!).
